First, I want to point out that DLSS4.5 is "cheating" with the wind. I first noticed this in RE9 during the tree scene, and now I've seen it for myself in the first scene of "Crimson Desert". The wind effect in DLSS4.5 is significantly less than it should be; this helps maintain stability, but it looks worse. Regarding the "death stranding" the missing rain is definitely a drawback, but I've seen tests on YouTube in other games where DLSS4.5 had the same issue with small particles, and FSR4.1 preserved them, so it's more of a quirk and depends on the game. Overall, dlss4.5 it's a bit more stable, but it preserves less detail in these two games; it's a tradeoff. I'm also unhappy that many people are keeping quiet about performance. Upscaling should not only provide good performance gains but also be effective. And when comparing quality, it can't be separated from performance. Therefore, it's worth comparing FSR4.1 "Balance" with DLSS4.5 "Performance," as they generally have similar performance benefits.
